About Finesse Permanent Makeup Inc.
My name is Ann-Marie Furness, and I
established Finesse Permanent Make-up Inc. in Oakville, Ontario in 1997,
and remain the sole owner/artist. I am proud to be one of Canada’s
most respected permanent make-up artists.
I am very direct and honest when it comes to permanent make-up. I listen to what my clients want and try to deliver their wishes. I believe less is more, and subtlety is a main feature of my work.
I value the privacy of my clients and the intimate nature of my work. I have built a reputation for my candor and discretion. A lot of my clients are discerning women who appreciate and expect perfection.
Permanent make-up is a technique called micropigmentation that implants pigment (colour) through the first layer of the skin into the second layer, where it remains. About one week after the procedure, as the skin heals, the true colour slowly appears.
Subtlety is a major factor for fair-skinned clients with blue and green eyes, and I am able to deliver a soft effect. I can also create a dramatic stronger look for clients with darker eyes. Ultimately, the enhancement should look so natural, you can’t tell that any work has been done! These natural enhancements can make a client look five to ten years younger by subtly re-framing the face.
I use the highest quality of hypoallergenic pigments. All supplies are pre-sterilized and are one-patient use. I am Health Canada approved. Finesse Permanent Make-Up Inc. has built a reputation for excellence in both artistry and clinical standards.
